Tip 27. Categorize your materials
Before visiting the library, categorize the materials you want to find.
For example, list together all the books you want.
List together all the journals you want to locate.
List together all the cases you need.
If necessary, list your materials into smaller subgroups.
For example, list together all the cases you want from the Federal Law Reports, all the cases you want from the State Supreme Court Reports, and so on.
Categorizing your materials like this will help you with the next tips.
