Tip 17. Print smart

To save printing time and searching through irrelevant material, print only the pages you need.

For example, to print only the pages you need from a long web document in Windows, such as an online case or statute, choose “Print Preview” from the browser’s “File” menu and note the page numbers you want to print. Then choose “Print” and specify the page numbers you want printed.

Try it now for Windows:

  • Go to the Win More Cases' foreword or another page that has more than 1 page of text.
  • Go to the File menu.
  • Choose Print Preview.
  • Note how your browser has paginated the Web pages for you.

For browsers on Macintosh, choose “Print” from the browser’s “File” menu. Click the “From” radio button and select the pages to print.

By the way, did you know you can print up to sixteen pages per 1 sheet of paper? Adjust the settings of your printer or application to print the desired number of pages per sheet.
