Tip 4. Adjust your screen’s resolution

Reducing your screen’s resolution may make your web pages display faster and make your text bigger and easier to read on screen. On the other hand, increasing your screen’s resolution may let you read more information on 1 page, which lets you scan more material and reduces the amount of material you have to scroll through. Find the balance that suits you and adjust your screen resolution accordingly.

  • Click the Start button.
  • Choose “Settings”.
  • Open “Control Panel”.
  • Select “Display”.
  • Click the “Settings” tab.
  • Increase or decrease the screen resolution to suit your needs.

The following procedure works for Macintosh OS 10.

  • Click the Apple menu.
  • Select “System Preferences”.
  • Select “Displays” under the Hardware category.
  • Increase or decrease the screen resolution to suit your needs.
