Tip 36. Outsource your photocopying
If you can afford it, get someone else to copy your materials.
For example, use a service like “Copies Direct” from the National Library of Australia or the equivalent Photocopy Service from the Library of Congress. These services can make copies quickly and cost-effectively.
When choosing a library for a copy of a case or an interlibrary loan, in our experience, private libraries and university libraries usually achieve faster turnaround times than public libraries, though sometimes for a higher price.
Many universities have a special service for businesses, including law firms. Sometimes you’ll have to pay more, but use these if you need something as soon as possible. Some of these services even provide express services on weekends.
