(b) Know when to stop

How do you know when you have got enough information? If you answer 'yes' to the following questions,186 you have probably acquired enough sources, at least for now.

check CHECK

Ask yourself …

  • have you used all 5 spheres of information?
  • have you stopped finding new material in your searches?
  • are your sources as up-to-date as you can get? That is, have you used all the basic research tools that must be consulted to deliver a thorough, up-to-date, and reliable research product?
